About

My first fascination with photography began when I was a little girl staring at the incredible images of National Geographic. I vowed then that I wanted to work for them as a writer and go out on assignments to these far off locations. I started trying my own hand at wildlife and scenery photography. In school, I became a Photo-Editor-in-Chief for the Brigham Young University daily newspaper. I loved the feeling of capturing the moment, the right expression, or getting the most creative angle. You had one shot to tell the entire story. Because of the new love I had found, I moved onto Utah State University where I studied photography and really honed my skills. During and after my schooling I worked at several local and national studios as well as local newspapers which really refined my abilities and broadened my working knowledge. Recently I decided to start my own business. With over 10 years of experience, I bring a varied and deep background of expertise to my photography. I am a student of the ever changing world of technology and styles of the time. I am always looking to improve. Most of all, I have fun taking pictures and getting to know my clients on a personal level. My goal is to bring out each individual personality in my images and have fun while doing it. My aim is that my images capture the moment in time.
